A seller is any party who has expertise or know-how that might be of benefit to other businesses. The seller can be an individual, whether a freelancer or consultant; or may be an organisation, such as a trade body or business.
Whilst the seller may already be an established ‘expert’ it can also be anyone – at whatever level in business - who has gained know-how in a professional capacity that might be of value to others. That know-how might be insight into how to set up a new venture, market knowledge in an industry sector or just a professional skill.
Sellers package their know-how into reports and documents that will help other businesses plug their knowledge gaps. Sellers earn fees for sales from each report and also have the opportunity to gain kudos and exposure from the Gibli.com platform.
This is knowledge trading. |
