How does Gibli.com work?
Ans: Sellers register and upload their files. Gibli administrations will approve/disapprove the uploaded files. The approved files can then be listed for sale. Sellers pay an amount each year to list files they are selling at Gibli.com.
Buyers can view the Software/File without any registration process. But when a buyer wishes to download or buy any Software/File, they have to register and login to do so. |

Ans: Sellers are any one who registers and uploads files. They pay an amount each year to list files they are selling at Gibli.com. |

Fees and commissions |
How much do sellers pay to Gibli.com?
Ans: Sellers pay an amount each year to list
files they are selling at Gibli.com. This amount is set at an amount equal to
the greater of the selling price they have selected for that file, or £3. This
fee is charged annually. |
How much do buyers pay to Gibli.com?
Ans: Purchasers pay a commission each time they buy
and download a file. This amount currently is set at 15% of the purchase
price of that file. This is used to run Gibli.com. The remaining 85% of the
selling price is passed on to the seller. |
Does Gibli have my credit card details?
Ans: No, We don’t want your credit card details, and are delighted to let an independent bank Net Payments handle all credit and debit card transactions. |

Technical problems |
My download failed.
Ans: You have 7 days to complete your download,
but if you still have problems, let us know. |
How many times can I sell a file?
Ans: There is no limit to this. Once you have uploaded a file and listed it for sale, it may be purchased by any number of users. |
My file didn’t get listed.
Ans: Most file types are auto approved, but a few have
to be approved by us. Once we have approved your file, you will see it in the
‘List my Software’ screen in the seller section. Select the file you want to
list and list it. |
How do I upload a file?
Ans: Once you are logged in, click on the ‘Upload
and Sell’ tab, and fill the form in. |
Is there a maximum file
size I can upload?
Ans: This is currently set to 10mb, but let us
know if you have larger file sizes. |
How do I download a
file?
Ans: Once you have logged in, search for a file,
then click ‘Add to Cart’ to begin the purchase process. When ready, either
click ‘View my Cart’ or ‘Go to Checkout’ to pay and download. |
How do I buy a file?
Ans: Follow the instructions as per ‘How do I
download a File’ above. |
How do I sell a file?
Ans: Follow the instructions as per ‘How do I
upload a file’ above. |

Legal issues |
Do I sell my copyright when I sell a
file?
Ans: No, the copyright remains with the copyright
holder. Please see the user legal agreements |
Can I sell a file that contains other
people's work?
Ans: Not unless they have given you have the right to
do so. Please see the user legal agreements |
| Disputes and Complaints |
I have a dispute with another user.
Ans: Gibli.com Ltd will have the final say in all
disputes, but will endeavour to be as fair as possible in resolution. Please
let us know as soon as possible. If we find in your favour, we will make a full
refund. |
I have a complaint.
Ans: We want to hear about your complaint, as there
may be easy ways to solve it. Please let us know details as soon as you can. |
Do you have a Refund Policy?
Ans: Yes, if you are not satisfied with your purchase
for any reason, we will initiate a refund enquiry. This may end with a full
refund to you, but Gibli.com Ltd will at all times make the final decision. |
Is there a cancellation procedure?
Ans: Any user can cancel their subscription at any
time. Any amounts owed by them or to them will be settled later. If a user
wishes to cancel a sale or purchase that has already taken place we will
initiate an enquiry. |
Is there a seller cancellation procedure.
Ans: Yes, sellers can at any time remove
their own files from our websites. |
What about fraud?
Ans: Users who commit fraud will be removed from our
websites, and their details may be passed to Police, Banks or other bodies. |
The download did not match the
description.
Ans: Tell us at once, and we will initiate a dispute
resolution enquiry. If we decide that fraud has been committed, a full refund
will be made to the buyer. |
